Resistive vs Capacitive Touch Screens (Industrial)

Resistive vs capacitive touch

Projected-capacitive (PCAP) touch is bright, durable glass with fast multi-touch that works through gloves and water — the modern default.

Resistive touch responds to any stylus or hard object and is single-touch — useful where thick gloves or any-object input matter and cost is critical.

IronView monitors ship with capacitive touch as standard; resistive is available on request. See touch models →
